VISION

Deep Roots. Wide Reach.

We exist to make disciples of Jesus who are deeply ROOTED in God’s grace and faithfully REACHING out to our community and the world with God’s love.
We long to be faithful laborers for Christ—men and women who live securely in God’s steadfast love, aim at Christlikeness in every area of life, and build all we do on the supreme authority of God’s Word. We desire to order our lives around God’s kingdom purposes, relate rightly within the body of Christ and the local church, and embrace evangelism as a daily way of life. By stepping out in faith and humble dependence on the Lord, we seek to reproduce disciples who make disciples, even to the third generation, for the glory of God.

Supporting Passages

Psalm 1:1–3
The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked
1 Blessed is the man
    who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
    nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law[b] of the Lord,
    and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree
    planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
    and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
Jeremiah 17:7–8
7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
    whose trust is the Lord.
8 He is like a tree planted by water,
    that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
    for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
    for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
Isaiah 61:3b
3 to grant to those who mourn in Zion—
    to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
    the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
    the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.
