Welcome
Join us at 10:45am for Sunday Worship
& 4:30pm on Christmas Eve
This Advent season, we will take a deeper look at the prophecies of Isaiah and their connection to the Advent hymn, “Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus.” Our aim is to renew our understanding of why the Son of God came to our world, focusing on the mission God entrusted to Him. While passages like Isaiah 7 (“the virgin will conceive and bear a son”), Isaiah 9 (“unto us a child is born”), and Micah 5 (“the ruler will come from Bethlehem”) are cherished and frequently read during Advent, we will go beyond these well-known prophecies. In our upcoming sermons, we’ll explore other scriptures that reveal the true reason for the season. Jesus himself taught that his mission of salvation fulfilled not just a few isolated prophecies but the entire Old Testament.
