Reaching Out
The Bible calls us to an others-oriented life as we walk in the path of Christ. Our outreach ministries provide avenues to express the good news of the gospel in word and deed, and to enjoy the growth and satisfaction that comes from intentionally seeking to minister to others. Take a look at our Missionary Journeys brochure for information about upcoming outreach events.
Missions
We believe that all Christians are missionaries in the broadest sense of the word, sent to live out and share the message of Christ. We are also strongly committed to supporting those who have been called to serve as domestic or foreign missionaries, and we desire to train up future workers from our congregation. Our goal is to diligently support and promote church-planting and disciple-building efforts both at home and abroad, frequently expose our congregation to missions efforts, and provide opportunities for first-hand involvement through short-term mission trips.
Mercy
We encourage involvement in NCCC mercy projects throughout the year – projects reflecting the idea that when we serve others we serve God. Numerous opportunities for practicing mercy are available through our ministry encounters: tutoring children in a nearby mobile home community, hosting homeless families through Interfaith Hospitality Network, putting together Thanksgiving baskets for those in need, providing gifts through the Christmas Store, helping our neighbors during Servant Saturdays…and more!
Evangelism
The most effective means of reaching people for Christ is through constant exposure to God’s word and God’s people. We encourage people at NCCC to spend time with their neighbors and friends, sharing with them not only the gospel but their very lives. We offer evangelism classes to prepare people to confidently present the gospel, and aim to equip believers to show others Christ in tangible, every-day ways.
Church Planting
Church planting is an important part of our ministry philosphy at NCCC. Visit the Church Planting page to learn more.
