What is a LIFE group?
LIFE groups are a gathering of adults who meet to explore what it means to be a follower of Christ and "live life together." They are open to adults of all ages and in all life stages. We encourage a healthy mix of people who connect because of where they live, what they like to do, where they are in life, or another common bond. Some groups are similar in "age and stage," some are more diverse.
Why does NCCC have LIFE groups?
In each LIFE group at NCCC, or goal is for a member to find:
We believe that God designed the body of Christ to learn from and support each other, as we strive to become more like Him.
When do LIFE groups meet?
LIFE groups meet on a schedule that works best for the group members. Most groups meet twice a month, some weekly, some monthly. Most meet on weekday evenings, some meet on weekend afternoons or evenings.
Where do LIFE groups meet?
Typically LIFE groups meet in homes, an atmosphere where fellowship and growth flourishes. We encourage our homes to be outposts for ministry where people come together to share, pray, study, learn, encourage each other, eat and have fun.
What is required of me?
Basically, to be there. The more you attend, the more you will get out of it. All groups have some biblical content to discuss, but building relationships is the primary focus. Homework is not required in most groups. Once you join a LIFE group, we hope you will attend regularly and keep in touch when you are unable to.
How do I get involved?
Contact the church office by email or by phone at (513) 229-0190 and provide us with your contact information (including email address) as well names and ages of your children, if applicable. After we receive your information, a LIFE group team member will contact you to discuss what kind of LIFE group you would like to visit.
