Officer nominations for the next ministry year are now open. Please nominate men you believe are qualified for the office of elder or deacon. The biblical qualifications are found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. Nomination forms are located on the bulletin table in the lobby.

Please be in prayer for our women’s Fall Fantasy banquet tonight (Oct. 30). We have a record number of women registered! Please pray for our women’s ministry team, our speaker, and all the ladies who will be attending, two-thirds of which do not attend NCCC. Thank you!

This year’s True North Fall Retreat takes place at Higher Ground in Indiana Nov. 20-22. The cost is $90, which includes transportation, lodging, meals, activities, and a cool T-shirt! Registration deadline is next Sunday, Nov. 8. Pick up a Fall Retreat brochure at the Welcome Center on Sunday or visit the website Youth page.

We are considering having a company come in to take photos for a new NCCC pictoral directory. We would post it in on the website as another password-protected option for church members. Is this something you would be interested in? Would you use it? Tell us what you think…we value your opinion!

Interested in pursuing a ministry opportunity teaching English as a Second Language? Plan to join us for an informational lunch next Sunday, October 25, after the second service in the Multipurpose Room. Contact the church office (info@northcincy.org) with questions.

Ladies, Fall Fantasy is coming up quickly on Friday, October 30! We’d love to have a few more table hostesses, but remember you DON’T have to decorate a table to come. You can just sign up to attend and bring a friend, and we’ll place you at a table. Registration forms and invitations are available at the Fall Fantasy table in the lobby. Please join us!

Our next Inquirer’s Class takes place on Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24. The class includes two sessions: Friday night from 7-9 p.m. (potluck supper) and Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m.-Noon (light breakfast provided). Childcare is available at no cost. You’ll meet some of our staff, enjoy food and fellowship, and find out more about NCCC’s history, mission, vision, ministries, and membership requirements. Men, mark your calendars for the next NCCC Men’s Night Out on Thursday, October 15, at 7 p.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings in Harper’s Point. Join us for food, fun, and fellowship. Come when you can and leave when you must!

Don’t forget…October is Pastor Appreciation Month! Stop by the Welcome Center and pick up a copy of “31 Days of Praying for Your Pastor” by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. It contains great suggestions for daily prayer for our pastors. You’ll also find the article “Eight Ways to Encourage Your Pastor” from ChristianityToday.com.

The women’s Fall Fantasy Banquet is coming up on Friday, October 30. Have you been dreaming up table theme ideas? Inviting your friends and neighbors? We hope you’ll join us for this wonderful outreach event! Use your bulletin insert or stop by the Fall Fantasy table in the lobby to register. We would like to provide meals for the Jenkins family again during the month of October. Their youngest son, Matthew, recently underwent his bone marrow transplant and has had some complications. We’re asking people to chose a Monday or Wednesday in October to cook a meal for four kids and three adults.
